race schedule
The Indy Criterium, situated in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis , offers cyclists a unique opportunity to race the city streets that they would rarely have the chance to do otherwise.
And for 2011, racers can expect a few exciting changes. This year, we reconfigured our race course into a unique figure-8 design.
"I love the new Indy Crit course," said veteran cyclist Chad Burdzilauskas of the Texas Roadhouse Cycling Team. "Better views for spectators and it will test either breakaway riders or sprinters."

founder
Dr. Joseph Cangas has been deemed The Helmet Doctor by many of the kids he has fit for helmets. He enjoys going to schools, clubs and groups of any size to talk about bike helmets and helmet safety.
Dr. Cangas founded Helmets First in St. Louis (2004) when, as a pediatrician, he noticed many children not wearing helmets. His initial plan was to talk to children at schools about wearing helmets and the program has grown from there. He gives away around
2,000 bike
helmets each
summer.
